Hong Kong Sports Institute annually conduct Future Star program with HKCA, which aims at exposing teenagers’ talents in their favorite sports events so as to enhance the sports level in the community and uplift Hong Kong’s international status in terms of sports. Teenagers with sports potential and passion may become one of elite athletes in Hong Kong and participate in the international events representing Hong Kong.

Participants will be arranged to take part in the fitness test and that for designated events as the preliminary screening. Students with potential will be selected for the basic training while they will be recommended by their coaches for further professional training once their skills are mature enough. Students with outstanding performance may be chosen to be athletes with scholarships of Hong Kong Sports Institute and be all-round supported as elite athletes.
