Invitation for Tender for the Phase I Improvement Works of Start-hill and International BMX Track at the Hong Kong Jockey Club International BMX Park

The Hong Kong Jockey Club International BMX Park (“the Park”) at Gin Drinkers Bay landfill at 91 Kwai Hei Street, Kwai Fong, New Territories, Hong Kong managed by The Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China Limited (“the Association”), will undergo Phase I of improvement works (“the Improvement Work”) for its Start-hill (“the Stage”) and International BMX Track (“the Track”), and the Association is currently looking for a contractor (“the Contractor”) for the captioned works.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club International BMX Park (“the Park”) at Gin Drinkers Bay landfill at 91 Kwai Hei Street, Kwai Fong, New Territories, Hong Kong managed by The Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China Limited (“the Association”), will undergo Phase I of improvement works (“the Improvement Work”) for its Start-hill (“the Stage”) and International BMX Track (“the Track”), and the Association is currently looking for a contractor (“the Contractor”) for the captioned works.

Briefing Session

A site visit to the Park would be arranged on 13 Dec 2016 (TUE) at 11:00am. The Contractor will also be able to view the Licence Agreement at the same time. Interested parties are recommended to join the site visit before submitting tender.

Tender Submission

The Contractor shall submit the following documents in the tender submission:
a. Technical Proposal;
b. Works Programme;
c. Pricing Summary with Tender Total;
d. Copy of Business Registration Certificate;
e. Company profile;
f. Track record of similar service;
g. Proposed staff to be involved in the project;
h. Other information, which is considered relevant.

The Contractor may submit alternative Technical Proposal(s) with different Work Programmes and Tender Totals for the Association’s consideration.

Please submit your proposal to quotation@cycling.org.hk, with the subject “Tender for the Phase I Improvement Works of BMX Park”, while the hardcopy should be sent to The Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China Limited at Room 1015, Olympic House, 1 Stadium Path, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong by 17:00, Friday, 6 Jan 2017.

If you are unable or do not wish to submit tender, please submit a “NIL RETURN” for our record. Late submissions will not be considered.

Tuen Mun - Chek Lap Kok Link - Southern Connection Viaduct Section (from early to end January 2017)

Tuen Mun - Chek Lap Kok Link - Southern Connection Viaduct Section (from early to end January 2017)

For the construction of Tuen Mun - Chek Lap Kok Link - Southern Connection Viaduct Section, a section of carriageway of Cheung Tung Roadwill be temporarily closed from early to end January 2017 facilitate the utilities installation works. During the implementation of the temporary traffic arrangement, a site access will be provided and two-lane-two-way traffic will be maintained on this section of Cheung Tung Road. Appropriate temporary traffic signs will be installed for guiding the road users (Click here for more information). 

For the safety to all road users, cyclists and site working personnel, we remind members and cyclists to obey all traffic rules, and to observe and stay alert of the traffic signals and on-going construction works and associated temporary traffic arrangement being implemented along Cheung Tung Road at Lantau Island.

For the construction of Tuen Mun - Chek Lap Kok Link - Southern Connection Viaduct Section, a section of Cheung Tung Road Kowloon Bound (near Pak Mong) will be temporarily closed for some days during the period from end December 2016 to end January 2017 between 10:00 to 16:00 on Monday and Friday & 09:00 to 17:00 on Tuesday to Thursday to facilitate the utilities installation works. During the implementation of the temporary traffic arrangement, a site access will be provided and one-lane-two-way traffic will be implemented. Appropriate temporary traffic signs and temporary traffic lights will be installed for guiding the road users(Click here for more information).
